56 years old, Married 36 years to same guy, 3 grown children-1 girl, 2 boys, 1 granddaughter. I've done all kinds of things most women haven't even dreamed of such as raised 3 kids while hubby was 1st in the Navy, then a merchant sailor on an oil tanker. Learned to do intense garden and "put up" fruits and vegetables. I can cook anything from scratch! Worked a truck farm, a kennel, a dispatcher for police, fire and ambulance, did a walk paper route to lose weight. And did all of this without help from any family. Now that my mother has passed, I have redone the inside of her house for hubby and myself. Tho hubby and I are semi-retired, it's really nice to know that this little house is paid for and it's ours now.
