1st woman: I froze to death.
2nd woman: How horrible!

 

1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold, I began to get warm & sleepy, & finally died a peaceful death. What about you?

 

2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act. But instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.

1st woman: So, what happened?

 

2nd woman: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere that I started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the attic & searched, & down into the basement. Then I went through every closet & checked under all the beds. I kept this up until I had looked everywhere, & finally I became so exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart attack & died.

Had the MRI yesterday. Of course I won't know the results till the 9th of March. We know I already have spondylosis. I just want to know where I am at. Thursday I start PT with some deep tissue massage. I will be going to Jarrett Orthopedic rehabilitation  http://www.jorinc.com/Welcome.html

February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day.  What acts of kindness have you done or plan on doing today?

I do all kinds of kindness everyday. I have helped seniors in the market. I do pick up trash. Share homemade muffins with neighbors and friends. Helping animals is my big thing. Animals can not speak for themselves, so I speak up for them. I will even leave notes on cars where a dog is inside. That's cruel. I volunteer at a Natural History museum also.

In honor of Presidents' Day, tell us: Who was your favorite U.S. President and why?

Teddy Roosevelt-cause he carried a "BIG STICK"!

Gloria Bogdon passed away today at 2:18 pm. She had had a clot that stopped her already weaken heart. She was my Native American studies professor and my best friend. 

What are you doing to save money during this economic downslide?

This isn't hard for me. I have just gone back to things like cooking from scratch more. We try to only go out for marketing and/or shopping on a day I have therapy. We play cribbage, Wii, watch our hummingbirds. We know the bus system, so if we really want to spend the day at the beach, we catch the bus and just enjoy the scenery. 

We have no bills-we have always used cash. Plus we paid off our mortgage early. We will save up if we want something. No credit here!!

In God we trust-everyone else pays cash!!! works for me.
