FASCINATION OF ORCHIDS-->Snow & cold break . . .enjoy

We went to the "Fascination of Orchids" show over at the Orange County Fairgrounds. http://www.ocfair.com/ocf/ Now, I could go on about ALL the most beautiful orchids one can ever see. Two buildings full of orchids and orchid related plants. One building was full of vendors selling all you see in the photos. The other building was for the beautiful arrangements done with orchids.
I took a bunch of photos and thought all of the people in the snow and cold would enjoy seeing some beautiful orchids and arrangements using orchids. So, take a break, enjoy the photos and remember "spring" is coming.

The flowers are all gorgeous. I especially love photo #5. Thank you, Deb for the cheer-up. It is windy and cold here in the Detroit area...more snow tonight, too.

So glad you enjoyed the flowers. I just thought it would be nice for all of those in the snow and cold, to get a "break" . . .

drats, I didn't realize this was going on this weekend. just as well, I guess, since I'm totally broke but still would have picked up some plants (and promptly killed the majority of them).

I've became fond of picking up post-bloom orchids at Roger's Gardens. No idea what I was getting - except a substantial bargain - and less guilt if they didn't survive. But the few that have made it have been wonderful.

Thank you for the photos!! Orchids are glorious flowers.
